In 351Hijree Ma’aza ad-Daulah ie Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah ad-Dailaamee wrote the following statement on the Door of the Grand Mosque of Baghdaad, (we seek refuge in Allaah)

“May the curse of Allah be upon Mu’awiyyah bin Abu Sufyaan, the oppressive who denied Fatima the garden of Fidak, the one who denied Hasan being buried with his grandfather, the one who exiled Abu Dharr and the one who expelled al-Abbaas from the Shoora (council).”

Ma’aza ad-Daulah on the 18th of Dhul-Hijjah 351H announced it to be a day of Eed in Baghdaad and called it the day of ‘Eed Khum Ghadeer’ drums were beaten and there were a lot of festivities.

Controversy persists with regards to choosing this day, some say this day was chosen because on this day the Messenger of Allaah (Sallaalahu Alayhee Wasallam) at his last person near the pond of Khum Ghadeer appointed Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) as his successor however some Shee’ah Raafidhah chose this day as it was the date Uthmaan ibn Affaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) was martyred and hence Shee’ah Raafidhah formulated this date as a day of happiness and Eed.

Ma’aza ad-Daulah ie Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah ad-Dailaamee set this up in 351H and since then the Shee’ah Raafidhah have pushed and believe this Eed ie of Ghadeer Khum is more superior and more important than Eed ul-Adha.

In the beginning of 352H Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah ordered the people that on the 10th of Muharram we will mourn the death and martyrdom of Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and hence on this day all the shops will be closed and no transactions or business will take place. The people from the towns and villages will wear clothes indicating mourning and will openly lament and grief. The women will have to open their hair, blacken their faces, rip their clothes, walk and parade the streets whilst reciting tragic, sad, depressive, pitiful and lamentable poems and couplets whilst also hitting their faces and chest.

So the Shee’ah Raafidhah did this openly and jubilantly. After all it was the Shee’ah Raafidhah responsible for the deaths of Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and his family and hence they had more of a reason to lament as history testifies. Therefore lamenting at their own sin and mistake was not problematic for them and also on the basis that Ubaidullaah ibn Ziyaads army who was the Governor of Koofah was compromised of the same koofee Shee’ah Raafidhah who had invited Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) to come to koofah and promised their loyalty and their pledge of allegiance. In the same manner they got Muslim ibn Aqeel killed and proved treacherous and liars and hence this is the reason why they mourn, ie because they killed Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu)

Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah refrained from this and kept themselves away from the Shee’ah Raafidhah as the ministers and local officials were Shee’ah Raafidhah. In the following year 353H the same morning and lamenting was ordered and the Sunnis were instructed to do the same which consequently led to troubles and turmoil between the Sunni and Shee’ahs.

From there on the Shee’ah Raafidhah continued the annual practice of lamenting and mourning and this practice continues today in all the Muslims countries and has even spread to the west as we see often, in Europe, England and USA. In some Muslims countries the Soofee bareilwis mostly bareilwee soofee hanafees are so beguiled that they also join and participate in such mourning and lamenting and follow in the footsteps of the Shee’ah Raafidhah without realising what they are actually doing and so falling prey to the confusion and misguidance of the Shee’ah Raafidhah by their false love and extremism for Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and the Prophets Family (May Allaah be pleased with them all) (Refer to Taareekh Islaam 2/566 of Najeebabaadee)

Ma’aza ad-Daulah ie Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah ad-Dailaamee was a bigoted staunch Shee’ah Raafidhah and he and others were ministers in the Abbassid Khaliphate in Baghdaad. Initially he was quiet and observant and later he manifested his true bigotry and extremism in his shee’ism. Many of the Abbaasid ministers and officials were Shee’ah Raafidhah but they were hidden and never openly manifested their beliefs. Ahmad ibn Buwaiyyah intended to crush and weaken the Khaliphate and push the ideology of Raafidhah Shee’ism in Baghdaad which he started in 351H by writing on the doors of the Grand Mosque of Baghdaad,

(Refer to Taareekh Ibn Atheer 8/179)

The Khaliph at the time attempted was unable to halt the spreading of this innovation. The Sunnis would erase the wording from the doors of the mosque but the next day Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah would we-write them. One of Ahmad bin Buwaiyyahs close advisers advised him to add the words, “Mu’awiyyah the oppressor of the Household of Muhammad.” So the cursing and abusing of Mu’awiyyah started and then became the norm.

Ma’aza ad-Daulah ie Ahmad bin Buwaiyyah ad-Dailaamee instigated this further and pushed this concepts vividly throughout Baghdaad and the surrounding areas including villages and other area. He pushed this third Eed and in this way it got incorporated as a permissible muslim festival and a day of joy and happiness.

For 10th Muharram ie Ashoora he forbade all business and the closure of all shops. He ordered the people to wear a specific type of hat and to lament and mourn and for the women to do things we have mentioned previously. He ordered processions through the streets with the people in the processions lamenting and mourning and this is what is continuous to this day. (refer to Taareekh Ibn Atheer 8/184, Taareekh Islaam 4/12-13 of Ma’een ud deen Ahmad)

Over the years these processions increased in their extravagance and extremism, the men started beating themselves with knives and other sharp metal instruments causing bleeding and pain and similarly the women would do the same trying to resemble the women at karbala by opening their hair and dishevelling them, beating their chests and ripping their clothes. They started to wear black clothes as sign of mourning. Without realising this was and is a direct insult and rebuking of the beloved pious household of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallaalahu Alayhee Wasallam), who would never to anything contrary to the teachings of Islaam and the Sunnah.

The Raafidhah Shee’ah allege all of these false things to our Ahlul Bayt, can you imagine Zainab (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) behaving in this way ripping her clothes and beating her chest, crying and lamenting in public. No, you will not find this, rather you will find they were extremely dignified and honourable, patient and in profuse remembrance of Allaah the All mighty as this is what is synonymous with their honour and position, from being from Ahlul Bayt. Yet again this is a sly hidden, deceptive conspiracy of the Raafidhah Shee’ah to secretly discredit the companions and the Ahlul Bayt.

In some instances the Raafidhah Shee’ah don’t change their clothes in these days nor wash believing and wanting to replicate the situation at karbala. They concoct false fabricated stories to make the affair more extravagant and increase the pity on the situation and all of this just to shift their blame from themselves because the Raafidhah Shee’ah know, it was themselves who actually martyred and unlawfully killed Hussain (RadhiAllaahu Anhu).

The shee’ah declare the all the companions to be disbelievers including the household members of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) except 3 companions. Infact the Shee’ah Raafidhah twist this and say all the companions apostated after the demise of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam). Furthermore Shee’ah Raafidhah believe it is permissible and they encourage the cursing and abusing of the companions and this has continued from the very beginning.

In this day and age when Ahlus Sunnah Wal-Jama’ah have expounded and virtue and love of the companions overwhelmingly the Shee’ah Raafidhah have had no choice to manifest their deceptive behaviour and once again change their stance and approach. Now they say they were not disbelievers but inferior in virtue to Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and hence he had superiority over all companions and should have been the First Caliph.

Irrespective of what the Shee’ah Raafidhah say in this day and age it does not hold any value nor will their statements substantiate their beliefs due to them concealing their faith and lying, namely taqiyyah and kithman. Therefore in order to ascertain the beliefs of the Shee’ah Raafidhah it is important to consult and refer to their classical and unilateral works.

Kulainee reports from Ja’afar who said, “After the demise of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) everyone apostated except 3 people and he said they were Miqdaad bin al-Aswad, Abu Dharr al-Ghiffaree and Salmaan al-Faarisee.” (Furoo al-Kaafee 69/137-138 of Kulainee)

Majlisee reports, “A servant of Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) said to him, “I have served you well for a long time, please tell me about Abu Bakr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu)? So he replied, “Both of them were Kaafirs (disbelievers) and whoever loves them is also a Kaafir (disbeliever).” (Bahaar al-Anwaar pg.522 of Majlisee)

Concerning the verse which mentions “Wa Yanha Anil Fahshaa Wal Munkar Wal-Baghya…” al-Qummee said in his explanation of the Quraan, “Fahshaa refers to Abu Bakr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu), Munkar refers to Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and baghya refers to Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhu).” (Tafseer al-Qummee pg.218)

Majlisee further said, “There are numerous and plenty of ahadeeth which allude to the kufr (disbelief) of Abu Bakr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu), they also allude to the innovations they formulated. They also allude to acquiring reward for cursing and abusing them and for also disassociating and shunning them. These ahadeeth number so many that they can be compiled into one or many volumes.” (Bahaar al-Anwaar pg.330)

Majlisee says after citing a report that “Abu Bakr (RadhiAllaahu Anhu), Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu), Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and Mu’awiyyah (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) will be in the depths of the hell fire.” (Bahaar al-Anwaar pg.334)

The Shee’ah Raafidhah author says, “Oh Allaah have mercy and shower your blessings upon Muhammad (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) and his Family and curse both (ie Abu Bakr and Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) the tyrannical idolaters and curse both of his daughters (ie Aishah and Hafsah (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) except the Quraish.” (Ahqaaq al-Haqq 1/337)

Majlisee said in another work, “In the religion of Imaamiyyah (ie the Shee’ah Raafidhah who reject the Caliphate of Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) and adopt The Imamate of Alee and the Imaams) the aspects which are considered to be necessary to believe in are Mut’a (temporary marriage) being halaal (ie lawful) and rejecting and shunning 3 people (ie Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) similarly the same applies to Mu’awiyyah (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and Yazeed ibn Mu’awiyyah (Rahimahullah) and from every individual who fought against the leader of the believers (ie Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu).” (Risaalah al-Ei’tiqaad pg.58 of Majlisee)

The Shee’ah Raafidhah on the day of Ashoora bring a dog which they call umar and they vehemently hit the dog with sticks and stones, until it dies. Then they bring a little goat which they name aishah and they pull its hair right out from the roots and hit it with their shoes and slippers until it also dies. (ASTAGFIRULLAHUl-A’DHEEM) (Tabdeed adh-Dhulaam Wa Tanbiyyah an-Niyaam pg.32)

Similarly they celebrate a day of festivities and feasts on the day Umar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) was martyred and they give an honorary title to the cowardly assassin Abu Lulu al-Majoosee, as Baba Shuja ud deen (The Bold and Brave Saint of the Deen) (al-Kunaa Wa al-Qaab 2/55 of Abbaas al-Ajamee)

The simple question we have if the Shee’ah Raafidhah believe Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) apostated, they were hypocrites and innovators (may the curse of Allaah be upon the liars) then why did Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) and his the household name their children Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma)?

This clearly shows the Shee’ah Raafidhah are liars and they lie and the normal shee’ah masses get engulfed and subjugated with such beliefs without realising the true reality of such issues.

Be brave and leave these foolish concepts and know that one day you will die and face Allaah, do not think about what your family and friends will think if you abandon such beliefs and the shee’ah religion rather think what will happen on the day of judgement when Abu Bakr as-Siddeeque, Umar bin al-Khattaab, Uthmaan ibn Affaan and Alee bin Abee Taalib and all of the companions (May Allaah be pleased with all of them) are standing with the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) and your asked why were you cursing and abusing my companions?

We further ask the Shee’ah Raafidhah since when have they starting naming their children with names that belong to non muslims (according to their incorrect beliefs) its hypocritical and disillusional?

It is like the Shee’ah Raafidhah saying we will name our boys as salman rushdie, barack obama, george bush or tony blair or name our women as hirsi ali or amina wudud it does not make sense.

So claiming love for the household of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) and at the same time cursing their children and offspring is indeed a great crime and a hidden agenda of the Shee’ah Raafidhah in belittling the companions and the Prophets household. This is clear proof against the Shee’ah Raafidhah who curse Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan (RadhiAllaahu Anhuma) whereas the household of the Prophet (Sallalaahu Alayhee Wasallam) named their children with the same names, this warrants an answer from the Shee’ah Raafidhah

The following children of Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) ibn Abee Taalib were martyred (May Allaah be pleased with them all):

Hussain, Ja’afar, Abbaas, Abu Bakr!!!, Muhammad, Uthmaan!!!

The following children of Hussain ibn Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) were martyred:

Alee Akbar (some reports his name was Umar), Abdullaah

The Following children of Hasan ibn Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) were martyred:

Abdullaah, Qaasim, Abu Bakr!!!

The Following children of Aqeel (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) ibn Abe Taalib were martyred:

Ja’afar, Abdullaah, Abdur Rahmaan, Muslim, Abdullaah ibn Muslim

The Following children of Abdullaah ibn Ja’afar (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) ibn Abe Taalib were martyred

A’un, Muhammad Ridhwaan (May Allaah be pleased with all of them)

(refer to Taareekh Khaleefah pg.224 of Ibn Khayaat)

Dear readers note why did the household of Alee (RadhiAllaahu Anhu) name their children Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthmaan, it is a point worth noting. This also shows clear enmity and animosity!

SHIITES AND SHIAISM

Shiaism (The Rafidah) and Islam are indeed different religions. This sect has developed into what we now know as the Shia whose beliefs and thoughts are repugnant beyond belief. The divergence of Shiaism from Islaam can be summarized from the books which they consider most authentic, and the statements of their most respected scholars.

Some of the proofs are available on this page Most of the Muslim UMMAH and Western scholars have very little genuine and reliable knowledge of SHIA beliefs and practices. However, most of the openly declared SHIA beliefs revolve around The Concept of Imamah, the superiority of Ali (May Allah be pleased with him), and the so-called love of the Prophet’s family members. As a result, the intense love that Sunni Muslims carry for the Prophet’s family members combined with the magnanimous personality of Ali has led some Sunnis to accept Shia’s as part of the Muslim UMMAH.

However, the brutal fact remains that under the pretense of Ali’s Superiority and the so-called love of the Prophet’s family members, Shias have literally evolved an entirely new religion, grossly distorted the teachings of the Holy Qur’ân, and completely rejected the sanctity and authenticity of the Hadeeth. They have elevated the sayings of their imams to the level of the Prophet’s sayings and have classified them as Hadeeth.

For all practical purposes, they reject the most authentic sayings of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) and base their religion on the so-called Hadeeth attributed to their Imaams. By doing so they have rejected one of the most fundamental principles of Islam: The law can only be derived from the sayings and actions of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), not any other human being.

The Saba’iyyah, a sect of the Rawafid, emerged in the time of `Ali and told `Ali he was God. `Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) burned some of them to death as a result. Later, the Rawafid split into many groups like: The Zaydis, Imamis, Kaysaniyyas, Qaddahiyyas  and Exaggerators (Ghullat). Some people asked Imam Zayd ibn `Ali to disavow Abu Bakr and `Umar. He would not do so, and some people refused his decision, and deserted him, thereby becoming known as Rawafid, which means : the Refusers, the Rejecters.

Those who stayed with him became known as the Zaydis, and so they are technically not of the Rawafid. The exaggerators are not Muslims, these Raafidi (Shia) actually descend from Abu Lu’luah Majoosi (a Persian fire worshipper) and Abdullaah ibn Saba’ (a Jew). However they are more dangerous from the Christians themselves. Christians fight Islaam face to face (if they did) while Rafidiyah stab Islam from its back they have lot of Absurdities in their beliefs like Badah, Rajah, Mutah, Taqiyyah, etc

The Zaydis, Imamis and exaggerators split up further, with each group accusing the other of kufr. The Zaydis split into three groups: Jarudis, Sulaymanis and Butris. They all agreed on the leadership of Imam Zayd ibn `Ali ibn al-Husayn when he revolted at the time of Hisham ibn `Abdul-Malik.

They are the closest of the Shiah to Ahlus-Sunnah; they merely maintain that `Ali had more right to the Caliphate, but they do not claim that he was explicitly appointed as Caliph by the Prophet (may Allah bless him and his Household and grant them peace), and hence they accept the Caliphates of Abu Bakr, `Umar and `Uthman. The Kisanis split into two groups: one claimed that Muhammad ibn Hanafiyyah, a son of `Ali, is still alive and that he is the Mahdi; the other group say he died and passed on the leadership.

The Imamis and exaggerators split into fifteen groups, among which are the Ja`faris/Ithna `Asharis (Twelvers) and the Isma`ilis. The exaggerators claimed divinity for their Imams, permitted all sorts of haram things, and in short dismissed the obligations of shari`ah.

Below we have more then 100 Articles exposing Shia’s using their own books and writings with detailed sources so that they don’t deny it. These references are copied from the religious books of Shiite religion. While translating them we have asked forgiveness of Allah many times, for, these are very much annoying for any Muslim to read. Neither I personally wish anyone to have them but to save the innocent simple Muslims from the Shiites (Raafidah) it was necessary to write them and forward them to our fellow Muslims so that they can know the real terrifying beliefs of Shiites.

Additionally I have also listed some articles about Ismailism and the Agakhanis; one of the more deviant groups within the Shia religion they are an offshoot of the Raafidah (Shiah) and share some of their characteristics. Aga Khan is their supreme leader and, in their view, has characteristics and attributes similar to those of Allaah.

And Lastly The Prophet  said: “Whoever abuses my Companions, upon them is the curse of Allah, the Angles and all the people” (Saheeh, At-Tabaranee)

For those who feel that speaking against this deviant pseudo-Islamic group is waste of time ….First read this then go ahead with other Articles pertaining to Shiite and Shiaism

Allah swt said in the Noble Qur’aan:

And whoso disputeth with thee concerning him, after the knowledge which hath come unto thee, say (unto him): Come! We will summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, then we will pray humbly (to our Lord) and (solemnly) invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie. [Surah Aale ‘Imran 3: 61]

Argument from the verse

This is one of the evidences which shia give to prove the Imamah of Ali bin Abi Talib (ra) after the Messenger of Allah (saw). Their argument is that, since the word “your sons” refer to Hasan and Husain, while “your women” refer to Fatima, therefore “yourselves” must be referring to Ali bin Abu Talib, and that is because the Prophet (pbuh), during Mubahila, came up only with these personalities and no one else[1].

They further argue that, since Allah calls Ali the “nafs” of the Messenger of Allah, (pbuh), therefore he must be similar to Prophet (pbuh) in each and every speciality except that which has been told[2].

The argument is as weak as the house of spider, as you will see soon.

Firstly, the word used for “yourselves” is “anfusana” which is a plural form. This indicates that there were more than one who were worthy to be called as the “self of the Messenger of Allah (s)”. And the Prophet(s) coming up with only Ali in reference to “anfusana” (yourselves) doesn’t falsify its implication for others.

Take for example the verse And [as for] those who put away their wives by likening their backs to the backs of their mothers” (58:3).

Here, the verse uses plural form even though the cause for its revelation was a single person. But still the implication is not limited to that person only and that is why Allah (swt) used the plural form. This refutes the contention of At-Tabtaba’i, the shi’a author of “Tafseer Al-Meezan”, who took this verse of Zihaar, present in Surah Al-Mujadilah (58:3), as a proof to claim that the word “anfusana”, although plural, is restricted to Ali bin Abi Talib (ra).

He also took this evidence fromAllah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: Surely Allah is poor and we are rich” (3:181) and “And they ask you as to what they should spend” (2:219).

Interestingly all these verses are very strong evidences against what he was trying to prove, as in the case of verses of Zihar. As for the verse of Ale ‘Imran Allah has certainly heard the saying of those…”, than this was revealed for the Jews, and its implication applied to a group of Jews who held such a view. This ugly statement was attributed to a group of Jews by Ibn Abbas, Hasan Al-Basari and Qatadah as reported by Tabari (7/443) and Ibn Abi Hatim[3].

As for the argument of Shi’i At-Tabtaba’i then he probably concluded it from the report of Ibn Ishaq through Ibn Abbas which was recorded by Tabari (7/441-442) and Ibn Hisham in his “Seerah”, according to which the statement was said by Finhaas who was a Jewish scholar, and he said it during a Majlis of Jewish people. Ibn Ishaq narrates it from Muhammad bin Abi Muhammad the mawla of Zaid bin Thaabit, and he was not known. But this same Tafsir has come from Ikramah and As-Suddi. But as said before, just because the cause of of the revelation was one person or Prophet (S) was seen applying it to one person, doesn’t mean its implication restricted to that single person, this is quite obvious in light of several verses of Ahkam which were revealed because of a single person but it applies to others also[4].

The above verse was revealed for Finhaas, but it applies to all those Jews who agreed with him and this include the Jews who were sitting in his Majlis. Shaykhul Islam has excellent speech on this matter of “limitation of the verse to its cause of revelation” in his Muqaddima Usul At-Tafseer which is in his “Majmoo’ Al-Fatawa” (13/338-340). The same answer goes for the verse 219 of Surah Al-Baqarah.

In conclusion, the argument of At-Tabtaba’i has nothing in it to change the plural into singular.

In our case here, the verse used anfusana, which is plural, indicates that there were others who could be called “nafs” of Rasulullah (S). As for why Prophet (s) did not come with others, then we come to it later on.

Secondly, the use of “anfusana” doesn’t necessitate equality or even similarity.

Allah (SWT) states :

why did not the believing men and believing women, when they heard it, think well of their own selves (anfusahum)” [24:12],

therefore turn to your Creator [penitently], so kill your people [anfusakum i.e. yourselves]” [2:54]

that doesn’t mean those who worshipped were like those who did not.

and do not kill your people [yourselves i.e. anfusakum]” [4:29]. “and do not find fault with your own people [anfusakum]” [49:11].

Refer to “Minhaj As-Sunnah” (7/87-89).

Similarly, the statement of Prophet (S) to Ali (ra) you are from me, and I am from you [Sahih Bukhari], and his (SAW) statement regarding Julaibib (ra) he is from me, and I am from him [Sahih Muslim], and his statements regarding Ash’aris they are from me, and I am from them [Sahih Muslim]. All these statements do not indicate that Ali, Julaibib or Ash’ari brothers were equal to Prophet (S) in quality, except for the Prophethood.

Allah (SWT) mention a statement of Ibrahim (AS) in his Book:

“My Lord! surely they have led many men astray; then whoever follows me, he is surely of me”. [Surah Ibrahim 14: 36]

No person with intelligence would conclude from the above verse that those who followed Ibrahim (pbuh) were similar to him in all aspects except Prophethood. Likewise, no one can claim that the followers of Taloot, who did not drink from the river, were like him in characteristics because of his (Taloot’s) statementwhoever then drinks from it, he is not of me, and whoever does not taste of it, he is surely of me [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:249].

Likewise Shia Muhaddith Al-Kulaini relates (2/170, Kitab Al-Eeman wa Al-Kufr) a narration, which is Hasan as per the verdict of Al-Majlisi, through Imam Ja’af As-Sadiq in which he said regarding relation of Muslims with each other, “he is from you, and you are from him”.

Now the question arises as to why did not the Messenger of Allah came up with other people like Abu Bakr and Umar, and his other daughters.

Shaikh Al-Islam states:

“…the reason that (only) these were invited because the command for each group was to call for their sons, women and their self from among their closest relatives. So everyone of them should call for their sons, women and the closest men to their lineage. And these were the closest to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in their lineage, even though there were those who were more superior to them near him (pbuh). So the command was not to call for the superior people from them because requirement for each of them was to call for their special relatives.

That is because the fear a person have for them and mercy which he have for his near relatives, and that is why they were specialized in the incident of Al-Kisa and supplication (during that incident). The Mubahila is based on justice, hence they (the Christians) were also required to come with their closest relatives to their Nasab, and they have feared for them which they do not have for other (non-relatives). And that was the reason they quit from the Mubahila as they knew that he (pbuh) was on truth so if had done mubahila its curse would fall on them and their family. In fact many a times a person have fear for his child which he does not have for himself.”

Source : Al-Minhaj (5/23-24)

As for why the Prophet (pbuh) did not come with his other daughters then this is because of the fact that they were not alive during the incident.

And reason that he didn’t come with his wives was because the fact that a person, normally, have much more love for his children as compared to his wives. So if the Prophet would have come with his wives then this would have given the other party a chance for taking the mubahila lightly. For people of that time, putting the life of their wives was much easy as compared to their children and those who were related to them through Nasab. Wallahu a’alam

The Nahjul Balagha is considered sacred by the Shia, which they consider the most reliable source for the words, sermons, and letters of Ali (رضّى الله عنه).

Let us examine one of these sermons in particular, which is available on the popular Shia website, Al-Islam.org:

Nahjul Balagha, Sermon 126

Ali says:

“With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness, and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity. You should beware of division because the one isolated from the group is a prey to Satan just as the one isolated from the flock of sheep is a prey to the wolf. Beware! Whoever calls to this course [of sectarianism], kill him, even though he may be under this headband of mine.”

(Source: Al-Islam.org, http://www.al-islam.org/nahjul/126.htm)

Let us now reflect on the words of Ali (رضّى الله عنه), line by line.

“With regard to me, two categories of people will be ruined, namely he who loves me too much and the love takes him away from rightfulness…”

We could not possibly find a better description for the Shia than this. The Shia love Ali (رضّى الله عنه) so much that they exaggerate and exalt his status to a level of Shirk, thereby going away from rightfulness.

The Shia give the names of Allah to Ali (رضّى الله عنه), calling him the Living “Ism-i Azam” of Allah, or the Living Supreme Name of Allah.

They call Ali (رضّى الله عنه) the Mazhar Al Aja-ib (The Executor of Wonders) and Mushkil Kusha (the Remover of Hardships) .

They exaggerate so much that they call Ali (رضّى الله عنه) to be the Yadullah (hand of Allah).

They call him Asdadullah (unconquerable and ever-overpowering strength of Allah). They say Ali (رضّى الله عنه) was too powerful for even the angels to stop him, that all the atoms in the world submit to Ali (رضّى الله عنه), that Ali (رضّى الله عنه) is the speaking Quran, and is the Mirror of Allah.

Look how loving Ali (رضّى الله عنه) too much has caused them to exaggerate his status like the Christians did with Jesus (عليه السلام), and look how this leads to Shirk. It also leads to going away from rightfulness, such as how the Shia hate the wives and companions of the Prophet (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلّم). Ali (رضّى الله عنه) warned the Shia on this matter. And the source is the Shia’s very own Nahjul Balagha.

“…and he who hates me too much and the hatred takes him away from rightfulness. The best man with regard to me is he who is on the middle course. So be with him and be with the great majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity.”

Ali (رضّى الله عنه) says not to hate him like the Nasibis (haters of Ahlel Bayt). He then says that the best of people are the ones who are on the middle course.

Who else is that other than the mainstream Muslims (i.e. the Ahlus Sunnah)?

The Ahlus Sunnah loves Ali (رضّى الله عنه) deeply, and considers him one of the greatest Sahabah. On the other hand, the Ahlus Sunnah does not exaggerate by giving him characteristics of Allah, nor do they hate the wives or friends of the Prophet (صلّى الله عليه وآله وسلّم).

Ali (رضّى الله عنه) says be with the majority of Muslims because Allah’s hand of protection is on keeping unity.

Can the Shia really get a clearer command than this?

Who is the majority of the Muslims other than the orthodox Ahlus Sunnah?

Ali (رضّى الله عنه) says be with the great majority of Muslims, not split up into these tiny Shia sects.

“You should beware of division because the one isolated from the group is a prey to Satan just as the one isolated from the flock of sheep is a prey to the wolf.”

So why is it then that the Shia have schismed from the Ummah? Are they not a prey of Shaitan’s now? And so it is that Shaitan has infiltrated the ranks of the Shia, leading so many millions of Shia astray. Why do the Shia not follow Ali (رضّى الله عنه) when he says to be with the great majority of Muslims?

“Whoever calls to this course [of sectarianism], kill him, even though he may be under this headband of mine.”

Even if someone claims to be a Shia’t Ali (i.e. under the headband of Ali), he really is an enemy of Ali (رضّى الله عنه) if he calls for sectarianism and the creation of a religious sect.

This is Ali’s condemnation of all Shia sects that have split away from the mainstream Muslims. Ali (رضّى الله عنه) even commanded these heretics to be killed, so it can be seen that he has no compassion for any of these deviants even if they claim to love him.

al-Fudayl ibn Marzuq said: I heard al-Hassan bin al-Hassan bin ‘Ali say to a Man from the Rafidah: “By Allah if it were up to us we would cut your hands and your feet from opposing sides and we would never accept your repentance.” I also heard him say: “We had to deal with the Rafidah as ‘Ali had to deal with the Hururiyah(Khawarij).“
